The Virta Event Park is located by the Vuoksi River, next to Kulttuuritalo Virta. Various major events starring both Finnish and international performers have been organised in the area. The area’s infrastructure and services have been developed to meet the needs of modern event producers.
The area has three water connections, the location of which is marked on the appendix on electricity and water connections. Water costs are based on consumption.
The area does not have lighting, which is why separate lighting is recommended.
The area does not have a network connection of its own.
The area must be restricted for the duration of the construction and disassembly.
The event organiser will compensate for any damage to the area caused during the construction, the event or the disassembly.
The area must be handed over in the same condition as it was in the beginning of the rental period.
A permit from the City of Imatra is required for organising an event. You can request a permit via lupapiste.fi.
For events with an admission fee, the area rent is €200 for each 24-hour period.
For the days of constructing and disassembling the event equipment, the rent is €100 for 24 hours.
For events with an admission fee, the event permit costs €140, including the water fee for the area.
For events without an admission fee, the price of the event permit depends on the size of the required area. Area rent is not charged for minor events without an admission fee.
